Pressed Flower Art

Each piece begins outdoors — among the wild things. I collect and grow flowers here in the Pacific Northwest, selecting blooms for their texture, color, and fleeting beauty. Each stem is pressed by hand and preserved with care, then thoughtfully arranged to capture the quiet, intricate patterns found in nature.

My work is both an act of preservation and transformation: a way to pause time, to hold still the color and movement of a season. Every finished piece is unique — a meeting of design, patience, and the unpredictable poetry of nature.
